The KIV-21 is an in-line network encryptor (INE) approved by the National Security Agency (NSA) to process network traffic classified up to TS/SCI. The KIV-21 provides Type 1 encryption for networked users, allowing them to securely pass Internet Protocol (IP) data packets across private intranets, wide area enterprises, or the public Internet.
